Kimila DeFlanders is a Licensed Certified Social Worker bringing over 17 years of rich experience to the field of mental health and social work. Her professional journey encompasses a diverse range of settings, including inpatient and outpatient psychiatric treatment, substance abuse recovery, and providing care for seriously mentally ill clients.

Kimila’s mission in her practice is to empower clients, guiding them to tap into their own strengths and resources to lead more fulfilling lives. This client-centered approach underlines her dedication to helping individuals navigate their unique challenges and achieve personal growth.

Holding a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from William Carey University and a Master's of Social Work from the University of Southern Mississippi, Kimila has a solid educational foundation that informs her compassionate and effective therapeutic approach.

As a board-certified supervisor, Kimila plays a vital role in mentoring future social workers, providing supervision for those seeking their LCSW license.
