
Kelly Crooks
Kelly Crooks is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience providing high-quality, compassionate mental health care across a variety of clinical settings. She works with adolescents, adults, and families, supporting clients through challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, and life transitions.
Kelly brings a well-rounded and dynamic clinical background that spans outpatient therapy, integrated healthcare, correctional mental health, child welfare, and crisis services. She currently serves as an Outpatient Therapist, providing individualized, evidence-based treatment tailored to each client’s unique needs. Her approach to therapy is grounded in building strong therapeutic relationships, promoting emotional wellness, and helping clients create meaningful, lasting change.
Previously, Kelly served as a Clinical Therapist with Grow Therapy, providing individual, couples, and family therapy while maintaining the highest standards of clinical documentation, ethical care, and collaboration with healthcare providers. She also held a leadership role as a Statewide LGBTQIA+ Clinical Coordinator with the Department of Children and Family Services, where she was recognized as a subject matter expert in affirming, trauma informed care. In this role, she provided consultation, training, and program development to improve outcomes and equity for youth across the state.
Kelly’s clinical experience also includes providing mental health services in correctional settings, pediatric care, and integrated primary care environments. She has conducted comprehensive assessments, crisis interventions, suicide risk evaluations, and coordinated care across multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of treatment.
Her early career work as a victim advocate and forensic interviewer further shaped her trauma informed approach, allowing her to support individuals navigating complex and sensitive life experiences with empathy and clinical expertise.
Kelly earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She is committed to ongoing professional development and providing care that is inclusive, ethical, and results driven.
