Kathleen Cox, LPC, brings over 12 years of experience in the mental health field, working with children, adolescents, and adults across a variety of clinical settings. She has extensive experience supporting individuals and families through a wide range of concerns, including behavioral challenges, substance use, life transitions, and emotional wellness.
Throughout her career, Kathleen has worked with organizations such as the Child Abuse Prevention Center, East Mississippi State Hospital’s adolescent substance use program, and Gulf Coast Mental Health Center, which later became part of Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources. These diverse experiences have equipped her with a strong clinical foundation and the ability to connect with clients from all walks of life.
Kathleen utilizes evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to support her clients in achieving meaningful and lasting change. She is known for her adaptable, compassionate approach and her commitment to meeting clients where they are.
She holds an active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential and is dedicated to providing high-quality, client-centered care.
